Former Missouri City Mayor Allen Owen Endorses Republican Greg Hill for U.S. Congress
PEARLAND, TX – Former Missouri City Mayor Allen Owen has endorsed Republican Greg Hill for U.S. Congress. Owen has lived in Missouri City for more than 40 years and served as Mayor for nearly 25 years.
“Greg Hill is a dedicated family man who has proven that he is right person to represent us in Congress,” said Owen. “Having served as a Border Patrol Agent, Greg will stand with President Trump to secure the border and cut off the flow of drugs and human trafficking. He was born and raised in the District, served three terms on the Pearland City Council, had his own law practice, and in 2018 became a Brazoria County Court-at-Law Judge. I am proud to know Greg and his family and my wife and I fully support his bid for Congress.”
Mayor Owen joins a long list of local elected officials and community leaders who have endorsed Hill for Congress. Last week, nearly every local elected official in Brazoria County endorsed Greg.
“I am honored to add Mayor Owen to our growing list of supporters in Brazoria and Fort Bend Counties,” said Hill. “Mayor Owen has been an incredible leader for Missouri City and I look forward to working with him and seeking his advice and counsel as the next Congressman for Congressional District 22.”
A lifelong Republican and district resident, Greg served as a U.S. Border Patrol Agent before returning home and serving three terms on the Pearland City Council. In 2018, Hill ran for Brazoria County Court-at-Law Judge and was one of the top voter getters, receiving more votes than any of the Republican statewide candidates.
Greg is married to his lovely wife Amy Hill and has two beautiful children, Isabella and Ford. They are active in their local church and Greg serves on numerous boards and commissions in the community.
