Former Texas State Rep. Randy Pennington Endorses Republican Greg Hill for Congressional District 22

PEARLAND, TX – Today, former Texas State Representative Randy Pennington announced his endorsement of Greg Hill to be the next congressman for Texas’ 22nd Congressional District.  Pennington served in the Texas House from 1981-1992 and is active in the Sagemont area of Houston, fighting for lower taxes and less government interference.

“When I first went to the Texas Legislature, I was focused on supporting Ron Paul and drawing lines for Congressional District 22 that reflected the values of its residents,” said Pennington.  “I haven’t endorsed a single candidate for District 22 since then… until now.”

“I believe this is our last chance to elect a true conservative to represent District 22, and that’s why I fully support Greg Hill.  Unlike other candidates in this race, Greg understands the values of this community, because he is part of the community.  He is not part of the swamp, and will fight for District 22 in Congress.”

A lifelong Republican and district resident, Greg served as a U.S. Border Patrol agent before returning home and serving three terms on the Pearland City Council. In 2018, Hill ran for Brazoria County Court-at-Law Judge and was one of the top voter getters, receiving more votes than any of the Republican statewide candidates.

“Randy Pennington is a legend in the Sagemont area,” said Hill.  “He has done so much for the community, and he continues to exemplify what it means to be a servant leader.  His endorsement is very special, and I will work hard to represent all areas and all the people of Congressional District 22.”

Greg is married to his wife Amy Hill, and they have two children, Isabella and Ford. They are active in their local church, and Greg serves on numerous boards and commissions in the community.
